I got to meet Paramore.
The concert kicked ass.
I have no voice today
BTW. Thats me and Liz with the band.
I share my opinions, reviews, and gripes about various topics. Anything is pretty much fair game. Be warned.

My Thoughts on the Death Penalty

Should these clowns be put to death? Yes.
I believe in an eye for an eye.
Please refer to this blog post that I've written for a more in-depth explanation of a specific instance where I not only believe the death penalty should be allowed, but the humanity should be stripped from it just because of the depravity of the crimes the two perpetrators committed.
If someone is brutalized and their assailants are convicted and sentenced to death, I don't think they should get a mere lethal injection. They should die the way their victim did, just to show them what they did to another human being.

My one food love. Sushi!
I used to be one of those people disgusted by the prospect of eating raw fish and seaweed.
My dad tricked me with a California roll at first (no raw fish) then got another one that had raw fish in it but claimed it had none, just like the Cali roll.
And that commenced the love affair with Sushi :)

Connecticut, welcome to the age of Sonic.
The holy grail that is a blue coconut chocolate slushy!
For 19 years of my life, I was taunted by Sonic commercials on TV. For years the closest one was 2-3 hours away in New Jersey.
Then I visited my parents in 2008 in South Carolina, where they live within a half hour of 2 of them. I nagged my mother for 2 days until she finally got pissed off enough about the nagging that she took me merely to shut me the hell up.
Oh sweet jesus that was heaven.
Since then, I went to one in Jersey in May, and last week one FINALLY FREAKIN OPENED IN CONNECTICUT!
Last night we went. Yes, there was a line, but for those who have had Sonic before, you know...shit is TOTALLY worth it. Their chili cheese tots are worth the drive alone. Couple that with the blue coconut chocolate slushy (pictured above) that the boy's roomate in airforce police school in San Antonio, TX introduced him to, and mayjah foodgasm commences.
I also got a Chicken Club Toaster, but I inhaled that too fast to get a pic.
Can't wait for next Tuesday when Paramore rolls into town. The venue is near Sonic, so you can bet your ass we're going again :)

He is delusional. I'm not color blind.
Justin likes to tell me I'm color blind merely because to me this color is blue green or turquoise and he says it's green.
This chart, taken from here proves that I am:
I rest my case

Quotable: Hank Steinbrenner
"Red Sox Nation? What a bunch of bullshit that is. That was a creation of the Red Sox and ESPN, which is filled with Red Sox fans. Go anywhere in America and you won’t see Red Sox hats and jackets, you’ll see Yankee hats and jackets. This is a Yankee country. We’re going to put the Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order." -Hank Steinbrenner
I am a true blue New York Yankees fan. To quote Jay-Z in "Empire State of Mind": "You should know I bleed blue but I ain't a crip".
The Yankees are THE American team and the face of America's pastime. Under the reign of Hank's dad George, the Yankees became a dynasty and gained the brand recognition it has today.

Summer scene: Pretty flowers
The boy's mom is a fantastic green thumb type, I don't know what kind of flower this is in our backyard BUT it's gorgeous.
If anyone could tell me what it is, that'd be awesome :)

RIP George
George "The Boss" Steinbrenner
July 4, 1930-July 13, 2010
To a legendary man who will always be entwined in Yankee lore, and who has, in his 37 year tenure as owner, helped mold the Bronx Bombers into what they are today, Rest in Peace.
Here's to World Series 28 in his honor :)
RIP George.
